Bozoma Saint John, Netflix’s newly-appointed chief marketing officer, was in the middle of her first week on the job when had to undergo an unexpected surgery. The former top marketing executive for Endeavor and Uber is well known for being a “bad ass” but this this time things didn’t go as planned. She updated her followers via social media over the weekend in two videos.

In a video, she warns and reminds her viewers of the importance of paying attention to their bodies, “if you feel something ain’t right, it ain’t right. Go get it checked out now.”
